Joe will be working with the TBF to try to make the TBF website easier to use and available for each club before we go through it again at the end of this year. > 2008 Club Awards: Joe Handed out booklets for the club awards for 2008. It is simple to fill out and every club has the potential to win these awards. One award that we would like to give again is the Lifetime Achievement Award. The Federation has only given this once and we know that there are a lot of deserving older and founding members of your clubs that are deserving of this award. Will be held at Potholes on May 31 and June 1 2008. Still Need volunteer boaters. Unfinished Business (Old Business) none New Business: Proposal to amend the WSBF bylaws regarding State Team Travel Expense: Currently the bylaws allow for expense moneys provided by WSBF to State Team members to be split between boater and non boaters. The expense money is a combination of travel and living expenses. The proposed change would be: All
travel expense money will be provided to the Boater as they are required
to take a boat to the Divisional Tournament.
Non-Boaters would receive living expense money only, and would no
longer receive travel expense money.
To receive all travel expense money the boater must provide for
the Non-boaters transportation to and
from the Divisional Tournament. If the Boater chooses to not provide for the Non-boater
transportation, the boater will forfeit the Non-boaters half of the
travel expense money.
As this could not be acted on for this years team it was decided to send it back to the clubs for there discussion and input and brought back at the September meeting. Jamboree Duties: All clubs signed up for duties at the Jamboree Open Forum: No new questions at this time. Adjournment: Meeting was adjourned at 1:50 PM Respectfully submitted: Joe Jacoby Sec/Treas
